Weekly Tips For a Nourishing & Sustainable Writing Practice
You ARE a real writer.
This Week’s Tip:
I want you to let go of the rules you’ve created for yourself or absorbed from others that define what it means to be a real writer. Anyone who writes anything is a real writer. So, if you’ve ever written an email or a text or a to-do list or a letter or a postcard or a journal entry or a tweet or an essay or a poem or a novel, you’re a writer. Do the work you need to do to let go of the rules that no one is making you follow. It may take a few days or a few weeks. Give your attention to your views on this topic. You may have rules you didn’t know you have. As soon as you notice the writing rules you have, try to let go of them.
