Daily Nourishment for June 3: Start in the Middle with Quotes and Guidance from Austin Kleon

Daily Nourishment Read Time: 40 seconds
Pause/Prompt/Practice Time: 15 minutes

Pause.

Do four rounds of 4/7/8 breathing. Inhale for a count of four, hold your breath for a count of seven, and exhale for a count of eight. Repeat this breathing pattern three more times. Then draw a small picture of a sun on the middle of a piece of paper.

 
 

Practice.

Set a timer for seven minutes and write in response to the Set a timer for seven minutes and begin making your own mind map using your sun picture as the center. What ideas have you thought about in the past week? What have you read? What have you written? What has made you curious? What connections have you noticed?
