“struggle into any light for a glimpse”- Judy Longley
Pause.
Take six deep breaths with a six-count inhale and a six-count exhale then read the poem “June Again” by Judy Longley.
Prompt.
What roadside growing things always capture your attention on road trips? I love tall (dead?) grasses, Queen Anne’s Lace, and the gold daylilies all over North Carolina during the summertime.
Set a timer for 10 minutes and write about what you know (or what you don’t know) about your favorite roadside flowers, plants, and grasses.
Practice.
Look at the painting Wild Chicory in Front of a Landscape here.
If you like, do a visio divina session with the painting using these instructions.
