Daily Nourishment Read Time: 45 seconds
Pause/Prompt/Practice Time: 10-15 minutes

Pause.

Use the inhale and exhale prompts below for a few rounds of a breath prayer or meditation.

Inhale:
I’m here now.

Exhale: Be here now.

Prompt.

Read the quote below and take notes for a few minutes on whatever thoughts come to mind.

“You can’t write what you’re going to write tomorrow or next week or next year without being who you are today.”
- Charlotte Donlon

Practice.

1. Make a list of five things you need or want to do today that have little to do with writing.

2. Make a list of five things someone else needs or wants you to do today that have little to do with writing.

3. Make a list of five things you did yesterday instead of writing.

4. Make a list of five things you wish were true for you today so you could do more writing.

5. Make a list of five things you can do today to help you have more time to write tomorrow.
