Good morning,

Falling hard for Philadelphia, FYI. I travel to new places then fall in love. It’s what I do, I guess.

I can take a legit break from working on the book for about 10 more days, but I think I’m going to keep working on the book, even while I’m waiting for feedback from my editor. I keep having ideas for the different chapters. It’s what I do, I guess.

Tonight Sarah and I will celebrate The Mother Artist with our friend Catherine Ricketts. We are glad to be here and attend a big delightful book release party at a local art gallery. We will also help out with setting up for the event and each of us will work a short shift at the guest table.

The Mother Artist is a gorgeous book, and I look forward to our Thoughtful Readers Gathering with Cat and The Mother Artist on Sunday, May 5th.

AND. Tomorrow night is the Thoughtful Readers Gathering with Anna Gazmarian and her book Devout. You should join us! Anna and I will have a fantastic discussion. Promise.
