🎤 I launched a new podcast on my 50th birthday because I wanted to.

I’m currently helping someone with some mental health and wellness issues, so I’m behind on the June Daily Nourishment post and the June Co-Writing schedule. I’ll add both to the website and calendar within the next few days. If it takes longer, it just means I’m still in the thick of it. Everyone’s going to be okay. I want to ensure I’m taking enough time for myself and not committing to too many things right now, while providing extra care and attention to others. I wish I had a staff of five people to help me do all of the work stuff I want to do, but I don’t. When life gets in the way, I have to step back from some of my work responsibilities. I have also pushed back the next Don’t Write Alone Cohort to the fall. Applications will open on August 1, and the cohort will run from September 1 to November 30.
Right now, from a work standpoint, I’m prioritizing the Spring Don’t Write Alone Cohort gatherings, spiritual direction sessions, and the Solo Writing Retreat Anthology meetings that are scheduled for the next several days. I want to keep all of those items on the calendar, and I have enough support from others to help me do that.
I never sent the SDW Insiders email I wanted to send a few weeks ago because I was pulled into this mental health/wellness situation around that time. A few of you have requested to be added to that SDW Insiders list, and I’ll ensure the distribution list is updated before sending out the next email from that list.
I may provide personal updates on that smaller list moving forward. I just wanted all of you to know why I’m behind on the June Daily Nourishment and Co-Writing schedule and provide a bit of a glimpse into my availability at this time.
