Good morning, While I was packing up everything and preparing to head back to Birmingham, Amy (my host for the past two nights) came downstairs to tell me Image journal isnโt going away and The Glen Workshop is on for this summer. Such good news. Such very good news. (Letโs do a better job of subscribing to and supporting the journals and magazines that we want to keep around. Okay? Okay.) I decided to skip the Festival of Faith and Writing again this year so I could have more funds available for The Glen. Iโm not a definite for The Glen yet. Iโm 95% sure Iโll be able to attend. I might even have a spiritual direction role to play. Waiting to hear more on that. Fingers crossed. Iโm flying home to Birmingham today since Brady needs the car for six weeks or so of physical therapy sessions here in Asheville. I love writing in airports and on planes. I have some very specific writing goals for today after a couple of days of not writing. Iโve already begun moving forward with one of my goals here at the gate and should be in good shape by the time I land in Atlanta. I might even add an additional specific goal to my travel writing plans for the day. We shall see.
