An Imperfect Note That’s Not Edited and May Have Typos and Whatnot but It’s Fine:

Good morning,

It was so nice driving into Asheville late yesterday afternoon because they have all of the early signs of spring that we had in Birmingham about a month ago. So I get to experience it all again. The daffodils, the forsythia, the Bradford pear trees. It was delightful.

Now it’s time to write and work. Then I have lunch plans with a friend. Then I have SDW Co-Writing from 1-5 p.m. CT which will be more time for writing.

The first day of spring starts tonight at around 11:55 p.m. ET. I want to turn in my manuscript on a significant day, and the first day of spring seems like a great day for that. If I can’t make it work before 11:54-ish ET tomorrow night, I’ll find a saint who’s remembered on Thursday or Friday that has meaning for me. Thursday happens to be World Poetry Day and Friday is Talk Like William Shakespeare Day. So. I’ll figure it out.
