Oh, happy day! (night!). Here's my next chapter and song pairing for The Great Belonging and Taylor Swift.

I chose "Daylight" for chapter one of The Great Belonging, "The Opposite of Loneliness." This chapter explores how belonging can be the opposite of loneliness, and "Daylight" works pretty well as a love letter to my sense of belonging that developed while I was writing the book and has continued to grow since.

Sometimes a song's lyrics align with it’s corresponding chapter's themes, but many of my chapter and song pairings are based on gut feelings, overall vibes, or inside jokes that wouldn't make sense to most people. Embrace nuance and mystery if you want this journey to be comfortable and enjoyable.

Thanks so much for following along!
