At the end of one of yesterday’s SDW Co-Writing Sessions, I invited the participants to add a blessing for everyone to the Zoom chat. We had a lovely writing life conversation after the timed writing portion of the liturgy, and this was a really beautiful way to end our Co-Writing Session.

We all need these words, so I’m sharing the blessings everyone added to the Zoom chat. Enjoy!

May we all embrace the process so completely that there is no longer space for perfectionism.

May we all hold our own stories with as much reverence as we hold each other's stories.

May we all hold space not just for our work but for our souls.

May we all receive beauty and goodness today in ways we aren't expecting.

May we all know that we ourselves are enough of a reason to write. I am enough of a reason.

May we all believe there is space for breath and flourishing between the both/and.
